How can I get the most from the game?

Focus on fully understanding the story in each chapter. Try to finish each chapter with the highest number of stars.

LangoPlay teaches new words and grammar through a story. You learn naturally, by seeing words in full sentences. This method uses the right side of your brain, which is linked to imagination and
learning through stories. This helps you remember words for a longer time.

The game teaches 3,000 words across three levels.

  • In Level 1, you learn around 1,200 new words.
  • In Level 2, you learn around 900 new words.
  • In Level 3, you learn around 900 new words.

Level 1 uses only basic grammar. Level 2 introduces more grammar, and Level 3 includes advanced grammar.

Research shows that we need to see a new word 10 to 15 times to remember it. In LangoPlay, new words appear again and again in full sentences. Then, the game checks your understanding with a “reverse translation” exercise, helping you confirm what you have learned.

The game helps you improve your reading, listening, and speaking skills.

Each chapter takes about 10 minutes to complete.

LangoPlay is designed for beginners, pre-intermediate, and intermediate learners. Each level includes 145 chapters. At the start, you take a short test that places you at the right level.

LangoPlay teaches English and Spanish. Translations are available in 18 languages. You can check the list of languages in the game settings.

The game follows the story of Robinson Crusoe. It has three levels: beginner, pre-intermediate, and intermediate. Each level has 145 chapters. Students take a short test at the beginning to find their starting level.

The game works well for both. Each chapter has three parts:
  • Story
  • Test
  • Listening
Students can complete all the parts on their own. However, the listening part is also suitable for pair work in class.

Yes. Students earn stars in each chapter. If a student earns the maximum stars, it means they have completed that chapter successfully.
